One night, a woman has a dream. In her dream, she finds herself in a room filled with cabinets and each cabinet has a person’s name on it. She looks at each one until she finally gets to the cabinet that has her name. She opens it and finds stacks of index cards, and sees that what is written on them are the sins she has committed throughout her life.
In the midst of that, a man comes in the room and starts opening each cabinet and starts erasing the things that were written on the index cards. And when that man has finally reached her cabinet, she goes up to him and watches him blot out her mistakes with a red marker. He erases the woman’s name and signs his signature. She tried to stop him because she didn’t want him to suffer the consequences due to the mistakes she has made. However, that didn’t stop him. He goes on to the other cabinets and she watches him do the same thing to all the other index cards.
When he is finally done, he goes up to the woman and says, “Everything is okay now,” and leaves.
After he left, the woman opened her cabinet again and saw that the red marker that he used for blotting out her mistakes wasn’t a red marker after all… It was his blood. And when she looked at the signature - she saw that it said, “Jesus Christ.”
